Learn about the history of our country through the history of Bradley County and Southeastern Tennessee. Students tour our permanent exhibit by rotating from station to station throughout the museum. Topics include: Early Settlers/Migration, Manufacturing/Industrialization, Railroads and Transportation, Cherokee History/Trail of Tears, and modern topics of interest such as the 1996 Olympics and the story of Sgt. Paul Huff, our hometown hero.
Tours can be customized to your age group and curriculum, and take about 1.5 hours to complete. You are welcome to combine your visit with lunch on our grounds (subject to availability).
We can accommodate up to 60 students at one time, larger groups should be split up to morning and afternoon visits or even on separate days.
