Come have fun with math as we explore the magic of quilt patterns! Students will tour our Stitches-in-Time quilt exhibit, learning about the different patterns and the geometry of traditional pieced quilting. Then we’ll do a hands-on project that will allow us to use our math skills to create a beautiful and meaningful example of quilt art. We will adjust the program to your grade level, relating the lesson not only to the math curriculum, but meeting several Social Studies and Art standards as well.
